Diagnosing brain tumors
Neuroimaging technology, such as planar X-ray imaging and cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT), offers highly detailed images of the brain and spine that can help us view the characteristics of your unique tumor. Our team of physicians and technicians use the latest imaging and biopsy techniques to properly diagnosis your condition and construct a comprehensive care plan.

Surgically implanted radiation therapy
By inserting tiny tiles into the brain, we can delay the regrowth of a brain tumor. The small tiles provide targeted radiation, limiting the damage to healthy tissue surrounding the cancer. Surgically implanted radiation therapy also reduces side effects, such as brain damage, hair loss and the amount of radiation exposure to those close to you.
During a tumor removal surgery, the tiles are placed at the tumor site. Similar to the size of a postage stamp, the tiles immediately begin killing cancer cells. The radiation process lasts approximately six weeks and the tiles are naturally resorbed by the body.
